MUTO

My God, this wall-painted animation by BLU blew my socks off! It's fucking amazing.

Working Girl

These cute yet bad ass accessories are from the Working Girl collection of Office Tramp, a jewellery line started by Gina Valdez. Melanie Griffith should have worn them 20 years ago in Working Girl, would have distracted from her awful hairstyle...

Left Left Left Right Left

In the Left Right Project, adidas worked together with artists from the West Coast and the East Coast - Surface to Air vs. Upper Playground’s Sam Flores. Each was given free rein to paint a 15-foot Superstar sneaker. The artists converged in Venice Beach for the showdown. Very cool project.

This is crack!

My 3 'S' theory applies to tech gadgets too... I am liking the look of the new Crackberry Bold!

SSS

I love this tunic dress by Alexander McQueen. It passes my 3 'S' test: simple, stylish and sexy.

The world's best event organisers

I went to Pangea Day in Shanghai last weekend and watched this documentary called 'A state of mind', about the mass games in North Korea... it's the most amazing huge scale choreographed event I have ever seen. Damnnnn, these people know dedication!

what if....

I often wonder what I would buy first if I came into possession of a large sum of money... I think I may have found the answer. I would buy a painting from the fabulous Jose Parla...

and fill my house with prints of my favourite photographer/friend, Davi Russo...

Now I just need to get the blueprint of a bank... Not a China one though, I would have problems carrying around so many $100 bills.

The New Grand Tour

2 days ago, I went to Beijing for the New Grand Tour by Diesel. The New Grand Tour is an episodic art project featuring revolving guest artists with hyphenated cultural and geographical backgrounds. The artists and documentary crew travel together to different parts of the globe and express through art exhibitions the subject matter of the towns and cultures they visit. The China episode features Suitman, Jose Parla, Deanne Cheuk, Rostarr and Davi Russo.

The show was fucking awesome. Mark Foster and Rey Parla are putting together a documentary on this extraordinary adventure. Thanks for letting me be a part of the experience.
